Breathe like your life depends on it
I often forget to breathe. Well not really… ’cause then I’d be dead. Just properly… deeply.
And particularly when I’m worried or stressed, I catch myself breathing really shallowly.
As if I’m shrinking away from life and breathing shallowly in protest.
When you breathe deeply, the fear and anger and stressy-ness start to dissolve a little bit and things get just a little bit clearer.
Try it next time you’re feeling scared/angry/having a tantrum.
