These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Italy Retreat held on 19th to 23rd August 2018 provided by The Spirited Project.
The agreement for you to attend the Spirited Project Italy Retreat commences on receipt of payment, and is governed by these Terms & Conditions until it ends in accordance with these Terms.
We will provide the retreat with reasonable care, skill and ability. Apart from that, all warranties and representations are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Due to the nature of this retreat, we cannot and do not guarantee any particular results.
When participating in the Spirited Project Italy Retreat, information you share and your behaviour towards other participants shall be polite, respectful and not offensive. Offensive or hostile behaviour towards or in relation to other participants is not permitted.
Retreat Details
1. Retreat details including information about the destination, accommodation, retreat dates, information on meals provided will be provided within the welcome pack you receive on receipt of payment.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you read and fully understand the retreat details prior to travel.
Registration
To ensure your attendance to this retreat, you must follow the correct procedure by selecting the appropriate ‘Buy Now’ option on the sales page and by ticking the box to confirm that you have fully read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
On receipt of purchase, you will then receive your confirmation email which includes your welcome pack.
You will NOT have a reserved spot on the retreat unless full payment has been received.
Confirmation and Itinerary Subject to Modification
After The Spirited Project receives payment, you will receive a confirmation email which includes your welcome pack.
Please contact us if you do not receive your confirmation email at hello@thespiritedproject.com within five (5) business days of payment, and we will email your confirmation email and welcome pack.
The itinerary for the event is subject to change and The Spirited Project expressly reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any time.
Payment Terms
Payment will be due upon receipt of booking.
Passport, Visa and Related Items
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid passport and all appropriate visas, permits, certificates of travel whilst visiting Italy for the retreat.
The Spirited Project is not responsible if you are denied entry or exit to/from Italy due to a lack of valid documentation.

Travel and Health Insurance
We strongly recommend the purchase of travel and health insurance to attend the retreat. You are solely responsible for the cost of any travel insurance and ensuring that you adequately insured for the full duration of the retreat with respect to possible illness, injury, death, property damage, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and/or curtailment, and/or any other potential losses, damages, costs, expenses, or liabilities. You will be solely responsible for any losses related to your failure to procure travel insurance. The Spirited Project is not responsible for any losses you incur and/or sustain.
Refund and Cancellations
The deadline for any cancellations is Monday 4th June 2018.
All refunds and cancellations must be made in writing (by email) to hello@thespiritedproject.com
If we are able to find a suitable replacement to take your spot on the retreat, we will refund the amount paid (up to the date of the email) minus a £300 administration fee.
If we aren’t able to replace your spot on the retreat, we will not be able to offer a refund but we would be happy for you to transfer your allocated spot on the retreat to someone else.
Conduct
You undertake to behave professionally, courteously and respectfully in all dealings with The Spirited Project, any person(s) acting on behalf of the company and any other clients or other third parties to whom you may be introduced in connection with the Services.
Disclaimers
You acknowledge that the retreat involves education, personal and spiritual development, that their effect depends on your own level of engagement and commitment and that no specific results can therefore be guaranteed by The Spirited Project and The Spirited Project accepts no responsibility for any decisions made by you as a result of the retreat.
The Spirited Project’s obligations are limited to providing the retreat as expressly described in these Terms & Conditions and no further warranties, representations or assurances are given to the extent that these are implied by and cannot be excluded under law.
You acknowledge that The Spirited Project is not qualified medically or as a psychologist or therapist and that the retreat is not intended to be for medical or therapeutic purposes.
You confirm that you are mindful of your own wellbeing and are wholly responsible for taking any medical or therapeutic advice or treatment which is, or may be to your benefit, without guidance or involvement on The Spirited Project’s part.
Confidentiality and Non-Disparagement
Each of us shall keep confidential all sensitive information relating to the other, and the other members of the group and my/their business (which in my case includes materials provided in connection with the Services) and not use such information for any purpose other than that for which it was provided. This shall not apply to the extent that any information is required to be disclosed by law or by any court or public body having binding authority to require such disclosure.
We each agree not to engage in any conduct or communications, public or private, intended or likely to disparage the other or damage their interests.
Force Majeure
We will not be in breach of the Contract nor liable for failure to provide services or perform obligations where it is not reasonably practicable to do so due to acts, events, omissions, accidents or circumstances beyond control.
This entire clause, including this paragraph, shall survive termination of the Contract.
